Well, it isn't against the law, but the 18 year old would be pretty stupid to risk it. There is only one reason someone that is 18 would date a 14 year old and that would be highly illegal. And if she were to get angry with him, all she would have to do is claim something happened, even if it didn't, and he would be on the wrong end of a sexual crimes investigation.

∙ 12y agoThe minor is not the one getting into trouble regarding having sex with an adult if you are referring to statutory rape. In this case it would be the girl but the age of consent is 16 in GA so you are free to do as you wish. There are no laws against dating so that is up to your parents.

∙ 12y agoIt is legal to date, there are no laws about what age you have to be to date in any state. There are laws about sexual activity depending on the state. In most places you have to be at least 16 to consent, if not 17 or 18.
