Can happiness be found in money?

I feel happiness can both be found in money and cannot be found in it. When happiness is found in money it isonly for a short burst and is very short term. But everlasting happiness can only be found in love or friendship or material items that have a spiritual meaning. Happiness can be found in money for example, if decorate your room, you may need to buy something, this will make you happy. It may continue to last for a long time. Yet happiness can't always be found in money, it can make you happy, but not forever.

I do think wealth generation is a byproduct of the benefits and valuable services we provide to society.

Therefore, the more unique and beneficial our service is, the more people will demand it and the more money they will pay us in return.

I once heard that happiness comes only from helping, giving, progress, and personal growth.

Therefore, I believe the knowledge progress and growth we acquire to provide our services to others make us happy. In the end, money comes as the result of providing our services.

I also think money can be a tool to bring you happiness.

Just think about anything you want in life. Is money involved in some way to get it?

As I mentioned above, many people find happiness by helping people. So how can I help people without having the means to do it.

Hence first, I must come up with the money to give to others or purchase the means to give to others.

I can use the traveling by plane sudden cabin decompression analogy. Once we board a plane, the stewardess instructs us that we must put our oxygen mask first before you can actually help others in case of decompression. What the stewardess is telling us is that we must allow ourselves with oxygen first. Hence, we do not faint before we can actually help those around us.
