Hinata does confess to Naruto but after that they don't get a chance to talk because Naruto was too busy saving Konoha. Later Sai tells Sakura that Naruto loves her but Naruto is out of the village for the moment. There are no new chapters yet so that's all i can say.

He loves her because she was the first person to tell him She LOVES him. And they both have alot in common like they both want to be acknowledged by everyone. And they bothe struggle with there lives. And no one really liked naruto when he was growing up Except Hinata. And look at the facts he was willing to go all 9 tailed to protect her. And the reason he was stunned was he never heard someone say "I Love you" to him. And to all the Narusaku Fan out there He turned her down in chapter 469 of shippuden.
