  • When a teenager stays out all night it is obviously against house rules in your home and you are a responsible parent. To discipline a teenager that does so is to ground them as best you can. Without yelling or showing you are ordering the teen around sit down with them and let them talk about themselves and then you can express your fears about how they worry you when they stay out all night. Don't look down to your teen, but talk to them in a mature manner. It is not unusual for some teens to stay out past the time allotted by the parents or sometimes stay out all night or, they may lie about staying overnight at a friends house or sneak out from their room in the middle of the night.
