According to The Bible in Deuteronomy 24:1: "If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house." It is the Catholic church that excommunicates a member who divorces and remarries without the benefit of their Annulment which is provided at various prices depending upon the priest or parish with which you consult.

AnswerGenerally, I would think no in most sects.

Catholics do frown upon divorce, but I don't know if it is ok under certain circumstances.

AnswerIt says in the bible that Christians should not get divorced;

"But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress..." Mathew 5: 32

So basically, Christans believe it is wrong to get a divorce unless your wife/husband has an affair.

In catholic tradition, if you get an annulment, you are not allowed to re-marry in a catholic Church.
