Even if they did, their vow of obedience and the threat of sanctions would likely prevent them from saying so, since the Catholic Church does not permit same-sex marriage.

Catholic AnswerAlthough there have been some Jesuits who have, individually, come out as supporting "same-sex marriage", this is an impossibility for the Jesuit Order as Catholic theology and natural law both teach that "same-sex marriage" is contrary to the natural law and a mortal sin. As Jesuits are priests of the Catholic Church and ordained to preach the truth to people, they are hardly in a position to support something so antithetical to the truth and to basic Christian teaching.
