An attack is an attempt to cause damage or injury to a person, position, idea, object or thing, by physical, verbal, or emotional assault.
It exist because the person being hurt stays in the relationship thinking the abuser will stop. Face reality this person has issues and they will not just up and change. I would advise anyone who is in an abusive relationship whether physical, emotional or verbal get out while you still can, because the abuser is not going to change magically.
Mental & emotional
This is one form of control, if you don't have access to money then the abuser will think that you can't do anything and can not leave him or her. Emotional , physical, financial, and verbal abuse can also occur along with everything else.
It's difficult to answer this question because apparently if a couple get into a disagreement and may call each other names in the heat of anger they are considered a verbal abuser. Not true! All couples have their good and bad times. If the verbal abuse is constant and they are trying to tear the person down and strip them of their dignity and independence THAT is emotional abuse. The rates are high (as is physical abuse) because there is more of a population and also more stress on people today. Be it verbal/physical abuse it strikes the rich/poor, and any race.
Verbal abuse falls under the category of emotional or psychological abuse. It includes using words to criticize, degrade, intimidate, or manipulate another person, causing harm to their emotional well-being.
No I dont think so, but if he verbally abuses you then maybe its time fo you to get out of the relationship.
A verbal attack is when you are speaking to someone in a rude way and calling them names, things like that. A physical attack is when you hit that person and physically harm them.
