It all depends on what person your dealing with.
One way, when you ask a question watch body language like the eyes. if eyes look down, it may be the person is lying
One can tell if a man is lying or not by various means. One can read the body language of another person to know this fact. Some other things are also there to know if a man is cheating or not such as if he is speaking properly or not.
One advantage of body language is a person can tell is one is happy, sad, or mad. A disadvantage is sometimes a person can be misunderstood by the body language.
There are no nonverbal signs exclusive to lying. Body language, at it's most basic, can only tell you how comfortable a person is. When a person lies they typically show signs of distress however it is impossible for the observer to accurately conclude that those stress signs are as a result of deception. In order to figure out if the person is lying you must take numerous variables, other than body language, into consideration; that persons typical behaviour, that persons current emotional state, that persons opinion of the subject, that persons personality etc. There are dozens of these variables. Some people have a natural ability at compiling these variables and can accurately predict if a person is lying (see "Wizards Project"). It is, however, possible to tell if a person is hiding their true emotions through observing slight facial expressions. See "Telling Lies" by Dr. Paul Ekman for more information.
Yes, one can tell certain things about a person by observing their body language and how they feel is one of these things. It must be taken into account; however, that some people do not fit the norm and also that body language varies by culture as well.
It can be challenging to determine if someone is lying about who they like, as emotions and feelings are subjective. Look for inconsistencies in their behavior, body language, and what they say. Trust your intuition and consider having an open and honest conversation with the person to express your concerns.
It is nearly impossible to tell if someone is lying through a text message. So you should either call the person or ask them in person
Face to face means they can see you. If you are going to tell a lie they may be able to tell by your body language. People can tell a lot by body language. On the other hand an advantage is that you can see there body language. Another disadvantage is if the person you are talking to is violent, they may hit you if you upset them.
When two people know each other well, one can often tell when the other is lying, by body language and their use of words. Otherwise, it is very hard to tell when people are lying, without other evidence. If it were easy to tell, the police would have a much easier job and all criminals would be convicted. This does not happen.
There's no magical way to tell if someone is lying period, though you can get some clues from body language. If it's being done in written form, though, the only way for you to tell would be to actually catch him doing it (for example, if he says he's in a certain place, and you're in that place, and he's obviously not there).
Body language is the label that experts in this field use to describe body movements a person uses to tell us something that the person in question is hiding. It also works in certain types of photographs. In a person, the body language of a person telling a lie can be discerned if the person being questioned looks away when giving an answer that is not true. In a group family portrait, if one person is noticeably a foot or so away from the main group of people, it can be said that that person does not want to there or dislikes the family in the photo portrait.
