Does children get premonitions

i would say yes kids can have premonitions, when i was nine years of age i heard a voice telling me that my grandpa would die the next day, that is exactly what happened. i will never forget that day because right before i heard the voice, he sat me on his lap and told me he loved me. that i believe was the first and last time i had ever heard him say he loved me so in some way i believe that there was some connection between us i do wonder if premonitions can be passed on from generation to generations, if so i believe that maybe that was the day my grandfather could have passed it along to me officially. sad to say though that since the only premonitions I've had were of deaths i could not bear to keep them in my life so i started shutting out my dreams and other ways to get through after 2007.
