Yes, I definitely think that it does in most cases. But if you are so far gone in your relationship that you feel like your happiest when you are apart then that usually just means that it's time to go. But if you really care for or love this person despite all of the arguments and fights, then when you take that time a part ,you will feel that something is missing and then you will want to be with that special person even more.
