No matter who you date in your life they are going to have a past and that is that - you have to get by it or your really going to have a problem finding a girlfriend. Remember their past is what has made them in the person you like and they have learned from it. Don't be judgemental as you may also have a past.

Getting over your ex-girlfriend can be a tough time in life. I know because I've been through it aswell, but it all depends on how much you actually loved your ex.

Like when you've just been in that tight situation were you and your girlfriend break up and you still have deep feelings for her. The worst thing that could happen after an event like is when the girl falls for another guy, therefore leaving you single, unhappy from the recent break up and now wishing she was still yours. Your question is on how to get over an ex-girlfriend...I can assure you, it takes time, and if it doesn't take long enough then that means you didn't have a pure passion for her when you were together. I am not trying to make your "forgetting stage" harder, nor am I trying to make you give up. What you must first do, (and this is important), is to delete any pictures that bring back hard thought memories of you and her. These pictures could include you and your ex hugging, kissing or even just a normal shot together. Delete the pictures and don't look back. Secondly, process your thoughts and try your hardest to occupy yourself, this is were your hobbies kick in. Kick a ball at the park, play Video Games, etc. This will make your mind tension more relaxed and focused on the action you are doing and eventually make thoughts more open and flowing rather than having to be extremely closed up on the inside. Sometimes your heart may still conceive your mind, happens most when your love is still very strong for her and causes you to constantly think about her and her only! Thirdly, share your opinions and let your heart out with a friend or family member, but make sure they approach you in a helpful matter. If you decide to choose a friend, take a closer look and make sure your friend is listening and is positive on helping you out, confidentially or not.

Another thing that could be very annoying is having your ex-girlfriend around your school, classroom, workplace or sports team. You might be in a position were you just look at her and think "I still love her"...Wrong! You are making yourself grow, what i call, an overpowering bond. This could be really bad in terms of family and friends because it makes you only think of her and nothing else. Try and avoid her in any way possible, be creative and smart...this may also keep you accompanied and busy.

You dont have to delete it just know it

but If u have someone and you can't forget about that main person then she might be a great person for you

but just try to find anything she gave you or anything if u find it you might want to:

Burn it

Keep it

Throw it away

Give it to someone

Give it back to her

But its imposssible to forget about it :)
