No, your parents have the right to control you up until you're 16 then you could get emancipated if you wanted but its not recommended. Anybody who controls another has problems, mental problems. Something that gives them the need to want to control a person is something that happens to a person emotionally. Besides that my personal opinion is no.
When someone tells another person they are not emotionally available to them any longer it means that person is drained mentally by the others emotions and they are tired with the relationship.
