Ask your mother about him and his relatives. There is always court records one can go through also. If you can get a list of relatives go and ask them about your father. It is to be expected that the relatives will glorify him though.

hey! I do not know my father either and have never seen him. Actually Google is a good way to find people. Just type in the name of the person or google how to find people and there are tons of ways to find people. Some of them are free, some are low prices and some are higher prices for the more advanced i guess you could call them "trackers". So check this out and if you need more help just type in the person's name in google and browse through and check some of the websites and see what gives you the most info.

Depends on the circumstances. If you know your birth mother, ask her about the possible options. Start from there. Find the people, ask for DNA. If she hasn't got a clue, it'll be tough, probably impossible. If you don't know your birth mother, start by trying to trace her. If you were adopted, the organisation that brokered the adoption probably has some sort of lead on her. If you are one of the few simply left on a door step, it may be impossible.
