How can i get straight A's in fifth grade?

Hi, im in the 6th grade too and yea, ya do need to try your hardest, but try to really focus and see what the teacher is saying...that way you'll do GREAT on the test, exam, essay, what ever....In 6th grade(Benjamin Banneker) we have these types of assignments:

Formative

Summative

Homework/prep... Formative is the most it counts for 60% of your grade

Summative is second most it counts for 30% and hw/prep is 10%....We mostly try to do best on Formatives (obviously)

BTW I've never gotten straight A's but me and my friend said whoever gets straight A's first get $10 and me and my dad said if i get straight A's i get an Env2!!!

A lot of parents give you good stuff if you get straight A's in school. You can also ask them for a certain gift(s). Example: "If I get straight A's, can I please get a Nintendo DS i?"

What u can do is that u can study,look it up in books,online,ask your teacher,or get a tutor.to me I would study and listen up in class like I do. I don't like history and I got a 96 on my report card. I got that grade because I listen up in class and sit up strait.i do all those and that is why I am a strait A student.

well you have to study hard try not to get distracted during class and distracted by boys/girls. and pray that you get straight A's cause in my 6th grade class we are already learning high school things. that's gonna help alot for the future so encourage your teacher to teach other things!
