How can men leave their wives and children and move on with another woman and her kids?

Although the percentage is much higher with men leaving their wife and children there are also women that do this (lower percentage by a lot.) Some men are brought up with no discipline and lack responsibility. They can get a woman pregnant, but some men feel she has the children, she does the cooking, cleaning and raising the children and he expects that. Apparently what he doesn't get is he has responsibilities toward his wife and children too. A male is not a man when he will desert his previous family. Sometimes people just fall out of love, but if he was mature and had any respect for himself he would willingly be sure you are taken care of (until you can at least get a job) and certainly pay Child Support. Some men are strictly out for themselves and are narcissistic in nature ... either unwilling (in denial) or incapable of feeling the hurt they have inflicted on their wife and children. They can be selfish and self centered. It's a slap in the face to your children that he has met another women with children of their own, so on top of a father that has deserted their children you are going to have think of counseling for your children (if young) so they realize none of this was their fault and cope with the feeling of being replaced by another woman's children. To children it's simply 'mom and dad' and no matter what the problems in the marriage that's as far as children think. Believe it or not people who have husbands (or women) that desert their spouses and any children are lucky. Who wants a dud like this around. It's devastating and frightening for any woman to suddenly be alone raising children, especially financially. If you own a home, property, etc., then get a lawyer and take this sucker to court and nail his hide to the wall. Show no pity! You are fighting for the years you put into the marriage and have to watch out for the welfare of your children which includes good health care and a good education (you can't do this alone.) In time you will realize there are lots of nice guys out there and you'll fall in love with the right one. For now fight for YOUR rights and the rights of your children. If he wants this woman and her kids then let him have the, but there will come a day he will regret it as all do. He will have to come full circle one day and eventually come full circle and at least face one or more of your children when they are old enough to understand their father deserted them. All he's manage to do is live in denial, did not learn communication skills, did not work at his marriage, and he will drag these into his second relationship and will more than likely have the same problems all over again. This man doesn't know the word of communication and responsibility.
