How can someone become a best friend?

Joining groups of interests would help you meet new people and make new friends and from there you could make really good friends.

It's not something that you can just make happen. The way you become best friends with someone is just my being there friend. You meet each other and get to know each other and just spend time with each other having fun!!

For example, I have two best friends. One of them I went to primary school with but didn't know her that well then in high school we became real friends but in year 8, we started spending more and more time together. My other best friend I met on the first day of year 7. We were put in the same class and intruduced to each other. We had other friends, but not in that class so we sat together and because we spent so much time together we grew closer and closer. We loved being together, made each other laugh and always had fun together and one day it just hit us, we were having so much fun that we didn't even realize how close we had become, we were best friends!

A years down the track and we can still count on each other for love and support through the good and the bad!

So just find people that you enjoy spending time with and just be yourself! I'm sure you will have a best friend in no time!

Some people will say well........ 'you buy them gifts and hang around them'. Butsometimes that's not entirlly true. The real way to get a friend is to be nice to them on theier first day of school. Or if your the one whose new or nieth of you are new, or even both of you are new, you can just be nice, talk. Smile talk about hobbies, family trips, dream jobs. Start clubs together. Get into a study group. Invite him or her to sleep overs, pool partys, to do homework after school, whatever. Chanses are that after that youll get a freind in notime! ( : !!!!!!!!
