Here's one way. First, find some time and a place to be alone. Allow an hour or so. If possible start with a nice, relaxing bath. Then get comfortable and just start touching yourself. Explore. Try to separate what your hands feel from what the part of your body that you're touching feels. (The idea is to become more aware of both sets of feelings!)

Go slow. Close your eyes or do this in the dark, if that's more comfortable. See how many parts of your body you can touch with other parts. (How much of your body can you touch with your feet, for example.) Try tensing up individual muscle groups while you keep the rest of your body relaxed. (For example, clench your right hand and try to relax all the other muscles.)

Taste yourself! Try giving yourself a massage. Smell yourself. You may wind up masturbating -- stimulating your sex organs. Go slow and pay attention to the feelings -- what feels good, what's boring, what feels great.

Here's the key: you are your body and you have the right to get to know yourself!
