I personally think that you should tell your friend that he should ask her out himself because alot of the time the girl thinks that it is a joek question and will say no just incase it is, even if she knows she likes him she will still say no incase it was a joke question, then the boy won't ask her out again coz he thinks she will say no again like she did when she thought it was a joke. It would ruin the whole relationship and make it weird between them if this happened. At least she will know it isn't a joke if he asks her out himself, even if she dies say know, at least she won't be hurt by her thoughts.
