That's a pretty tough question to answer unless one could sit and watch what was going on. Some coworkers will flirt for the fun of it (second nature to some people) and others are just joking. I would think if they don't flirt with anyone else in the office then they must be interested in you. If you like the person wait a bit to see if they ask you out and if they don't take the risk and ask them out.

She is a coworker of a relative, so what? Ask her out, like you would any other woman. Confront her and go for a coffee or something. take things slowly. I don't think she'd mind just because you are her co-worker's relative, she's still a woman afterall. If you like her, then ask her out.

Unless you are talking about business with this woman by cell then you should only keep your casual conversations at work. You already know you are playing with fire as you have absolutely no reason to constantly talk with this coworker and therefore, whether you have an affair with this woman or not you are, in ways cheating on your wife. When in doubt put yourself in your wife's shoes .. how would you feel if she did what you are doing?
