it really depends on the girl, u could write her a love letter, give her roses, ect... and after just tell her that u love her.
I always had trouble starting by talking (the words would get all scrambled), so I'd write a short letter on how I felt and what I wanted and give it to her. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. But one can either try somehow or just give up...
