How do you ask a guy out if he thinks you hate him?

You can tell him any way you like. If he hates you though, what is the point? Life is too short to waste worrying about people who do not like you. I'm not saying you should hate him back either; that too would be a waste of life. Just live.

Well, I think it's ok to tell a guy you like him, just try to make sure that he likes you first. Usually it's easier to wait until the guy tells you his feelings, but if he's really shy or something like that its better just to tell him your feelings first. If it happens that he doesn't like you, he's probably not going to hate you, he would be pretty weird if he did. If he doesn't like you the worst that will happen is he won't talk to you as much and may not hang out with you anymore, guys do this just to give you the message that they're not attracted to you, not because they hate you.

C: Explain the whole situation to him.

D: Ask his friend to explain the whole situation to him.

Well if he told you he hates you he ovesly doesn't like you. So you need to let him go and move ok.. It's hard but it like the best way.
