There are different ways to do cheats on different consoles like on PC you might have too go too the game menu and open a cheat code box where you type it in or like on gta (PC) you just type it with out any boxes or any thing then the cheat code gets activated. On ps1's ps2's ps3's you deffinetly will have too do the cheat codes with the (X) (O) (square) (triangle) buttons or the (right) (left) (up) (down) also theese codes will be the same on Xbox and Nintendo DS ..... But i don't know about the Wii consoul cus i don't own it sorry .. i hope this helps you

if you are talking about cheating on Video Games, then you have to get codes for most, then put them in a certain way into the game. You can find code books almost wherever books are sold.
