Ibelieve that nobody ever really gets over the one they are madly in love with until him or her and you feel and if they have nothing to say try get them jealous and if It doesn't work its time to move on. It's difficult when two people breakup and one, the other or both are wondering what the other is doing and it may appear your ex is flying high and enjoying themselves, but it also may not be the truth. Your ex could be thinking the same thing about you. You may not be as madly in love with your ex as you think and often one can simply want something they can't have. You are beating yourself up; not giving yourself a chance to get out with friends, socialize more and see what other types of the opposite sex are out there. You may be glad that your ex is out of your life when you finally meet that special someone (and you will!) I was married before to a person that was mentally/physically abusive and cheated on me. I hid my head in the sand for 3 1/2 years and finally came to the conclusion this guy wasn't worth my time. I kicked him out, immediately filed for a divorce, found a new job and new apartment and made new friends. It took me a bit to get use to not having him around, but it wasn't long before I totally enjoyed my independence and not always having the feeling I was walking on broken glass or my heart was in my throat. I eventually met a wonderful man and we've been married 35 years. If I hadn't left that waste of skin, I wouldn't have met the man I love a great deal. Life is full of twists and turns. Give it a chance!
