How do you deal with the fact your best friend who always claimed to love you suddenly got married to another girl and wanted to hide it for awhile and you happen to found it?

• It is true that a female and male can be best friends, but the love a best friend has for the other is different than a romantic attachment. Obviously your best male friend loved you more as a person he could confide in; trust and have fun with, but he fell in love with another young woman and would have known this would have hurt you. He should have told you he was getting married before you found out, but, he possibly just couldn't bring himself to hurt you not realizing eventually you would find out and the fact he was married would hurt you a lot worse than if he had been honest with you. As much as he broke your heart be strong and wise enough to congratulate him (and his new wife if they are together when you see them) and wish them happiness in the future. Perhaps you can still remain friends although both of you will not be as close as you once were. In time the hurt will go away and you will meet someone special in the future and be as happy as your best friend is.
