How do you explain love to someone who has never experienced it before?

This needs clarification, and I'm curious why it's in the abused children section - is the woman you're trying to explain it to someone who was abused as a child? Were you abused as a child? Is there some abused child somewhere in the mix? And the question itself needs clarification: Are you trying to explain the concept of love to a woman who does not understand the idea? Are you trying to explain to a woman that you love her? Are you trying to explain that you love someone else to a woman who thinks you ought to love her?

love is hard to explain. its something you can't really compare to anything else.

love is when there's that someone you don't want to live without. whenever you're with them, you're happy, you have butterflies, your hearts beating fast & you wouldn't rather be anywhere else. love can almost be the most painful thing. when you're heartbroken, it's terrible. im only sixteen, but my boyfriend of a year and for months dumped me in January. i didn't stop crying, didn't eat, hardly spoke to anyone, and liked for about three weeks. were back together now and I'll say, the feeling getting a text late at night saying "good night princess. ill see you in my dreams. I love you" or in the morning saying "good morning sweetheart. have a good day, cos if you don't , neither will i xo" from him is the best feeling. the hugs and kisses, knowing your not alone, it's worth all the pain in the world.
