I think the most things girls (like me) like about emo boys are their hair and their adorable faces so bring it up and just like giggle a lot and just make them feel like you really like them, it helps.

He will either like you or not like you. I'm a bit of an emo myself (but I've kinda grown out of it =S) and to get my emo boyfriend I was just really friendly, complimented his looks and clothes, told him he was nice etc and was there for him when he was all upset or something. Most emo guys look for comfort, so let them know you'll provide that too. I know that a few of my other emo guy friends like perfectly normal girls too. It just depends if there's a spark or not.

Emo guys are really sensitive and quiet so don't just rush up and demand to know everything, if they want you to know they will tell you. I'm a emo myself and you just have ways of knowing if an emo likes you like he'll play with your hair or hell whisper mysterious stuff in your ears. He'll act like its only you and him in a crowded area you can just feel and tell it within your soul. I know this because I'm an emo myself (not a poser) my favorite things I like emo guys to tell me is I'm mysterious. Definitely don't ask if they cut themselves I know from experience it can turn out really bad.

emo guys are regular guys too. They may have more emotional problems than the rest. Just make sure you're there for him and NEVER in your entire life ask him if he cuts himself when you first meet him because that really changes what he thought about you, from a nice understanding girl to a judgemental poser. And Don't be too pushy about your feelings. It's extremely annoying when someone just says your hot/sexy out of nowhere. I mean it's good to compliment but don't treat guys like pieces of meat. Just go with the flow and if he feels a spark when he's with you, he's definitely going to call you back. and an extra tip: be mysterious but open that way he feels comfortable around you but wants to know more!
