How do you forget a girl you had been in love with for a time?

We are more inexperienced at the time as far as getting on with our lives, but by some miracle most of us do. Most of us never forget our first love through our lifetime, but as we get older it becomes just a fond memory like a first kiss.I suggest you start getting out with your friends and try to have some fun. It may take a couple of weeks or a couple of months, but it gets you out there and socializing and you'll meet another great girl. If you hole up in your home you will never give yourself a chance to meet that special someone.

• Why would you want to do such a thing? The whole experience is part of what makes you who you are. Learn from it. And one day you will find someone who's closeness to you is so overwhelming that it will seem trivial.

this is a hard question... my first love was a VERY regrettable experience, and i have tried to forget it for years. the thing i realized over time is that you cannot forget it, just accept it and move on. untill they find a way to remove memories from the brain, you just have to learn how to deal with yours. if you are really having a hard time, try talking to a close friend or going to a counsler...this is something that takes time and effort. good luck =]

Only time can help you forget. Eventually you will only remember a small bit because those memories will be replaced by the lovely memories you have made with someone else. There is no short way through the pain.

You will never forget your first love. I'm sure you have heard this before but it is true. I think that you just need to either find someone new or if you can't do that simply just wait.. you will get over her, it might be hard but you can do it. You will never forget her and you will never forget how she made you feel but you will be able to move on and find another love..
