  1. Be yourself. If he doesn't like you for who you are, then he doesn't deserve you!
  2. Ask him if he likes you. Give it a shot. You will never know until you ask.
  3. Get to know him. If you don't have anything in common with him, he's not worth it.
  4. Hang around him. He might actually get to like YOU!

I typed in this question. Here is what happened. I am in 6th grade and during recess this girl came up to me and said she knew who liked me. She said it was this boy James. He is in most of my classes. In one class, he asked me to be his girlfriend. When I said I would think about it, he said he was just kidding. Now i don't know if he likes me or not. There is this other boy who is always looking at me and smiling. I asked him why he always looked at me and he just smiled and said "I don't know". Does he like me?

More:

I'm sure the second boy likes you. He is probably too afraid to come out and say it right now. Be accessible to him, like #4 above says. He might eventually come out and say it. You control this. If you really like him, be a little nice to him, but don't *throw yourself* on him. If it turns out that you later realize he's not for you, then just stop being accessible.
