How do you get a child to stop talking back?

Children learn by example. Speak to them with love and respect and try to remember all the time that they are a child and it is a natural part of developing and growing to ask questions about the world they live in, no matter how frustrating it is to the adult. Set guidelines and boundaries for behaviour and explain why these rules are in place. Be clear about the consequences of mis-behaviour and be consistent.

First stop using innapropriate language yourself. If there is something you don't want your children to do then you should not do it. Parents have the biggest influence on their child. If your child receives allowance you can have a "Swear Jar". Every time your child swears have him/her put a quarter in the jar and use the money for something for yourself or the house. When your child realizes they are going to lose their money they will start changing their vocabulary.

First you should start by establishing your superiority by putting a foot in there rear and telling(shouting to) them how its disrespectful and illadvised and that there will be further groundings and consequences for the actions they took. Your word goes.If your a mother and you have a son that is threataning you.I suggest smaking him and showing true love and showing some disciplinary actions to teach him what tone not to use when you are speaking.If all else fails, research a legitamate place where he can be sent and supervised so that he can shape up(any child issue program or military school!),one of the mistakes would be to ask other people how to get your kid to stop talking back(:))((there kids have different personalities and the same techniques they used doesnt always work!)).Did your parents teach you?If not, you can understand your child's position,if they did:then use the same methods your parents did.If its not the same scenario from when you were a kid then(again)research what kind of person your child is and what methods they will respond to the best.So basically theres is no one way of stopping them from talking back there are different ways to make them fear you but love you at the same time.To be feared is to be respected if your not respected whats that tell you!!Good luck and i hope this advise helped.
