(what may be ugly to you, might be drop dead gorgeous to someone else) it's all about self confidence because if uyou aren't confident in yourself then how do you expect you to be comfortable with a boy? boys sense a girl's self confidence, they tend to find it attractive.

Just be a sweet heart to her and see if she flirts back or is sweet back. If she is, I'd keep doing what you're doing for a week or so, then ask her if she's into you. Being open and forward is always the best. Never write notes or have friends ask for you. That's childish and cowardly. Ask her straight up.
