How do you get even with someone who keeps harassing you and accusing you of something you didn't even do?
Dont bother to try and get even, this will only make you like them. I am sure that in time they will get fed up doing what they are doing. Your friends who really know you will ignore them anyway. Give them a kindly understanding smile, this will usually disarm them and they will leave you alone. If you can, then ask them why you wouldn't do that. Then tell them they are denying it to themsleves and everyone else that they did do it if that actually makes any sense at all. But if they are your best friend, then tell them you are down right ashamed of them for saying such a horrible thing. If that doesn't work, then tell them, literally, to shut up. And if that doesn't work, which it might not because it never does for me, say dirty things about them and see how they like it. That might work, but if it doesn't, then find someone else to ask.

Stealing is illegal because you are taking something that is someone elses, they worked hard for it and someone is just taking it when they didnt work for it. if you have permission to have it then it is not stealing however.
