  • 'Space' between a couple is generally called, 'head space.' This means that is not healthy for a couple of any age to be constantly around each other and each of them should have other interests; hobbies; friends they can go out with on occasion, yet have time with their mate. Without space from each other neither partner grows or matures in themselves. The couple should each take time out for hobbies; sports; seeing their friends; perhaps going on a short vacation with a friend and becoming more independent and when they manage to balance this they have better quality time with their mate.
