Breedz should be downloaded in a zipped (compressed) folder format. That's how all mine were. You can save this file anywhere you choose, as long as you know where it is and it isn't interfering with any of the game folders. For instance, I have all my downloads saved in a folder I keep on the desktop.

If you don't have winzip, you can right click the file and say 'extract all'. Winzip allows you to double click and open the zipped file like any other. inside the downloaded folder, there is a file that will end in .dog or .cat. Usually the name of the breed precedes the file extension.

When you've found this, you have to go to your hard drive, and follow the destination path of the game. For instance, you'd click on C: drive, Program Files, Ubi Soft (or PF Magic, for earlier versions) then Catz or Dogz. In here there should be a number of folders - Adopted Petz, PetzPix, Skinz, Resource etc. Click Resource and within that there should be folders like - Area, Clothez, Toys, Songz... There should also be one that is named Catz or Dogz, maybe both, depending on the game you have.

If you are downloading a Catz breed, click on the Catz folder, and vice versa. Copy and paste the .cat or .dog file you downloaded in a zip folder - not the whole folder, just the specific pet file - and open the game.

The breed you downloaded should now appear in the adoption centre.

The same steps should be taken to put new clothez, toyz or skinz into the game, just copy and paste the opened, downloaded file into the right folder in the game's destination folder.

Hope this wasn't too hard to follow! =)
