Cutting is a physical expression of emotional pain, and needs to be dealt with psychologically. You should make sure your friend's parents are aware of the cutting if they are under age 18. It could be a cry for help.
Talk to your friend about it and tell them that it is not good. If your friend doesn't stop go to your parents and tell them.
Tell your or their parents what is going on, or tell a trusted teacher or coach.
talk to her about it and see if something is bothering her
She was 11 years old when she started cutting herself.
Talk to a psychologist about how you can't stop cutting yourself. He can help you. If you have a good friend, talk to them. Surely they can help you in getting your problem done and over with.
Talk to someone, whether it be a friend or a teacher you trust or a sports coach or maybe a school counselor. They can help you through it. you CAN stop cutting yourself, things do get better! :) stay strong!
If your friend truly wants to kill herself, there won't be much that you can do to stop her. If you can, try to get her to go to counseling and get him/her to realize the importance of this life !! You will need to tell her family about your fears so they can be involved. You can phone one of the help lines that are available in these instances. They will want to speak with your friend. They are trained in situations like this and give very good advice.

Stop cutting. Get some help to figure out why you are doing it or what the cause is in your case. A friend of mine said it was pain that you could control unlike some other types of pain in their life that they couldn't control at the time. I can see where that might make sense, but that doesn't mean you have to continue cutting. A lot of things that might be causing you to cut can be dealt with in a better way.
Well you cant stop your friend from cutting. Only they can do that. I have been a cutter for almost 6 years now. If you arent a cutter yourself you are probably having a hard time understanding what your friend is going through. If you tell a counselor, most likely your friendship will end. Why not just try supporting your friend and hanging out with them alot before going to an adult. Try to make them feel loved. Cutting is a serious issue, but sometimes you have to let the person hit rock bottom before they will get any help. Me and my friend are on our way to recovery. We slip up alot. Cutting is an addiction and until something so drastic happens that it really changes your view on life, it is hard to find a reason to stop. I know that my friend who is also a cutter just started a blog about her struggle with cutting. I only think she has one post up, but her e-mail is on that blog also. You can have your friend contact her. It will help your friend to talk to someone who really understands what they are feeling. heres the link http://xxxcryingbloodytearsxxx.blogspot.com/
