How do you know if your ex boyfriend is lying to you about having a new girlfriend?

he would drop hints saying that she always does this or that and that you never did those things.... He makes sure you know about it by calling you and talking about her or somehow else letting you know they are together, without you asking.

I can only respond based on experience. I think there are positive indicators and negative ones. On the positive side, they will compliment how great you look every time they see you, they still reminisce about the past and what good times you shared, but I think most of all you tend to hear from your kids how much they still love you. My ex-husband recently told my daughter that he is still in love with me. We've been divorced for 21 years. Now, on the negative side they're consumed with who you are currently with. They're always asking mutual acquaintences about you and how you look but generally do not have anything nice to say about you.

That's a good question. I would look at him and her and see if he is looking in her eyes the way he used to do to you. If he is then I would say he is not trying to make you jealous. You can tell when someone likes someone and when they don't. I hope in your case that he actually likes her and is not using her. If you can't tell from that, then I would confront him and ask if he is. Let's hope he gives you his honest answer. If you can tell he is lying then you know right then and there that he is doing it to make you jealous. I hope I helped you out. As i have been through this before i have a pretty good idea, well they tend to stay near you to see if you are watching or at lest can see them with their new girlfriend they also seem to talk to you'r good friends and see how you feel about him and they try to make friends with you're friends they will do anything to make you jelous but to tell you the truth the get over it if you stay away from 'em without making it obvious etc but if you want to get serious revenge on them for trying it on you then i suggest when he's not around her make friends with her,it souldn't make much diff if he can see you from a pretty long distance or cant see you at all but as long as you kinda take her away from him kind of not being too mean but because it is quite cruel but they will eventually get over it trust me I've done it before and it worked for me so it sould work 4 you luv ya xoxomadi97

Your boyfriend can't be in two places at the same time so if he is not turning up to keep a date with you; doesn't phone or email you or bother to see you that often then he is probably seeing another girl. The best thing you can do is ask for more of a commitment from him (it's called growing up) and if he is unwilling to change then you should tell him you are not putting up with his non committal attitude and move on. There are a lot of very nice young men out there that would treat you with better respect. Communication in a relationship (no matter what you age) is the best tool you will have in your life so, start talking to him about how you feel and if you aren't getting any answers out of him then the only alternative you have is move on and leave him behind.
