How do you know if your husband really is in love with you when he works all day and most of the night and never has any time to spend with you and when his friends come around he makes time?

Communication is a good start, talk to him in, do not criticize or blame him, tell him how you want to have your share of time you deserved and whyAnswerDraw the line and make him choose. You are his wife and you deserve more time than he spends with his friends. But at the same time, make sure that what time you do have with him is spent well. It may be that he gives you time but instead of spending it with him doing something worthwhile, you are spending it riding his ass or doing stuff around the house. He may just be stressed and wanting to get away from the house work and not from you personally. To test this, ask him to go do something you enjoy that doesn't involve money and just time and make it at a time he would be doing somethign with friends. Be pleasant about it. If he resists the idea, ask him plainly - would you rather spend your evening with me or with your friends? That's going to put him in a situation to choose a specific situation rather than having a big blown up "would you rather spend your time with them than me?" because you can't win that broad of an argument. If he chooses to spend that p[articular evening with his friends instead of you, then you know where his priorities are.
