It is over when you or the other person say it is over. Long term relationships are harder to end than short term relationships because there are more feelings.

A few signs of a soon-to-be maybe break up could be;

• The other person isn't comfortable with you anymore
• They get annoyed when you call
• They make excuses to not see you any more
• You bring the person to Sonic Burger all the time even if the other person said they don't like eating there
• You call them a cheap date and aren't joking
• You don't bring flowers
• The other person stops bringing flowers
• The female in the relationship thinks that the man is treating her like a mother
• The other person realized that you don't want to get married
