There is no such thing as 'the one' because there are many guys you could be compatible with. It is all about work and compromise in a relationship, no one is perfect and there will be fights once in a while. It is how you handle those down times which determine how long your relationship will last. The guy who makes you feel like a million dollars and loves you no matter what your faults are is a pretty good choice. I disagree with the answer above me. There is such a thing as the one. I mean there are about six and a half billion people in the world. So everyone should have a perfect pair just like shoes.I guess you just know he is the one when his shoe fits perfectly with yours.Or because he takes your breath away either literally or illiterally.

You never know, but if 80% of what you are looking for is there and the other 20% isn't dangerous or unpleasant, then you are close. Make sure you check out his parents and his relationship with them. When you marry someone, you marry his/her family.
