How do you know when to let go of someone you love?

by storm:Ask yourself one question;are you happy? If the answer is no it's time to see other people. If the answer is yes but not as happy as you could be,again, maybe it's time to see other people. Just go with your heart and find out wheather the relationship is working x

if its even a question in your head and your not happy you should try to slowly distance yourself. stay friends and be together occasionaly, DO NOT DATE OTHERS but stay apart. after a while you will see how you do on your own without them and maybe even see other oppertunities. otherwise it may just show you how your life just isn't the same without them. Depending on your age (20 plus) and he hasn't made any plans with you for the future then communicate the fact you want to know there is something 'at the end of the rainbow' meaning marriage! If he is not comfortable with this and says he needs more time then it's apparent he isn't ready to commit to marriage and he either wants to be free to do as he pleases or is too comfortable simply living with you.
