Answer You will absolutely know without a doubt when you meet your true soul mate. You may not know immediately what is happening but trust me, it won't take long and you will know. It is different from any other kind of relationship that you may have had in the past. There is no comparison at all. It stands apart so much from anything you have experienced that it becomes obvious fairly soon what is happening. It is a certain overwhelming feeling for someone that we feel we cannot control. You cannot control it. You cannot change it. You may feel like you have known that person forever. You feel a very strong connection to them that cannot be explained. You love them totally for everything that they are. You will put them before yourself. It is a totally unselfish love. The feeling can completely take over your entire being and existence. I had never experienced anything like it before and didn't really believe very much in soulmates. If you ever meet your true soul mate, you will know without question. You will soon realize that you will never be the same. Everything changes for you whether you can actually be with that person or not. That person will be in your heart, your thoughts, and your very soul always after you meet him or her. You have no interest in anyone else and the thought of being with someone else doesn't even enter your mind. I think that sometimes you can communicate with your true soul mate without even talking. Kind of like what twins can sometimes do. When I met my soul mate, I didn't know what hit me at first but I knew something was definitely going on. The only way I can describe it is maybe like being hit by lightening or a train or something like that. It is an awesome feeling but it can be scary too because you realize that person holds your heart and soul in their hand and they can crush you if they want to.
