How do you stop an argument with a friend?

By not arguing, its as hard and as simple as that.

It is quite normal to have some arguments however, it really depends on how you argue, how you deal with it and if it is really worth the trouble to argue about whatever it is. It is a waste of time to argue over petty things but very important to communicate with one another effectively.

Don't try to stop a fight between two friends if it is a serious fight - you may end up losing both friends if you try to stop the fight. If it's just some squabble over nothing and it's getting irritating, it would be a good idea to tell them to stop before the argument gets personal.

Well it depends on what happened but either tell her you were wrong about whatever it was and that you are sorry, or that whatever you are fighting about isn't a good reason to end a friendship.
