How do you stop your little sister from copying you?

Getting your little sister to stop copying you is not something that you can probably do, at least not totally. Younger siblings tend to look up to their older siblings, and copying them is just part of that. It can; however, be quite irritating to the older sibling. One thing that might help is to tell your younger sister what you did and liked when you were her age and to encourage her to find things that she likes. This might take some effort on your part. You may need to make some time to do things with her that she likes, but it may result in her discovering her own talents and interests instead of trying to copy what you do.

She is only trying to get on your nerves, or she want to be like you. But if she is getting on your nerves on purpose then, get on hers, try copying her, then trust me, she will stop. Another thing you can do, is don't do anything, then she won't have anything to copy.

Why not pay a little attention to her, in the way , of asking if there is an activity that you two can do together and let her run the show, so to speak, this will give her the feeling that she is her own person. Make a time, even if its dinner time, to sit and talk with her or do something, that's her idea, for fifteen minutes, set the time limit when you first talk to her and she will start to develop on her own. I know how it feels...its SOOOO annoying! You could pretend to like something you dont realy like and she will copy you.Then don't tell her what you like and say what you like is rubbish.

If she is copying you then just tell her to stop and if that doesn't work copy her and show her how it feels to be copied! If she still doesn't stop then she won't and you will either have to learn the live with it, or stop having any dealings with her.
