How do you talk to your dead family?

its easy all you need to do is go into a very ever so old house or old mindshaft and say. is there anyone here. i wont harm you. and well sometimes they answer back. and you have to be very very silent. dont make a sound and you will hear sounds of the miners that used to work in the old mine shafts.

Well firstly it depends if you belive you can really contact the dead. Some belive you can, some beive you can't. Then there are moral issues, some people belive you shouldn't contact the dead. Some people think it is dangerous to contact the dead.

I personally belive you can contact the dead, I belive if you are careful then it isn't dangerous and it isn't unfair on the spirit as long as you are sincere and polite.

Once way to do this is with a ouija board (also called a witch board, a spirit board etc...). This is a board with yes, no, hello, goodbye and all of the letters and all of the numbers on. They can be made either on a board, with slips of paper on a table, or bought.

A counter, piece of wood or glass (called the palachette) is then used on the board but 2 or more people lightly resting their finger on it. They then ask, "Is there anybody there?" If a spirit is present then the pallechette should slide to 'yes' You can then ask questions, but remeber, these were humans once and you must be polite. Also, don't allow the spirit to allow the pallachette to hit all of the letters of the alphabet in sequence, or all of the numbers.

The medium then contacts the spirit of a dead relative from the spirit world while the rest concentrate on the spirit mentally. Everyone places his or her index fingers a little above the planchette. When the spirit arrives, people can ask "yes or no" questions, which the spirit answers by moving the planchette onto the Yes and No sections of the board. This is a popular method for communicating with the dead, but also dangerous. If the planchette tips over, many people believe that spirits, many of them evil, will escape.

It depends in what you believe. Some people can communicate with the dead. To do so, you must focus on a happy or sad moment, and let it pulse through your veins. Imagine a dead person whom you miss, and open your eyes. This does not work for everyone, it works for me, though.

There is no evidence at all that anyone has ever communicated with the dead. Delusional people or charlatans make extraordinary claims but have failed to convince any reasonably sceptical audience.

Spirits, though, do exist, and do walk on the earth among us. Although some people may not believe in this, others do, and everybody should respect those that do. Many people that can communicate with the dead, and/or supernatural, are referred to as mediums, people who can communicate with both the dead and living. Some can also read minds and understand animals, and are then referred to as 'physics.

You can't; they're dead (science answer). They can't use their senses. For whatever religion you're in, you can make yourself believe you can. It's simple, go to their grave and chatter it up. Although, for the Science answer, that would be stupid and you'd be talking to the gravestone.
