This would depend greatly on your age and the type of problem you refer to. Let's assume you are a teenager.
If your dad is the understanding type you can have a heart to heart talk with, tell him honestly how you feel. Let him know that while you need and appreciate his help or advice with a problem, ultimately it's your problem and you must learn to handle problems yourself. Tell him if you want further assistance from him, you'll ask him for it. Give him a big hug and thank him for being there for you.
On the other hand, if your dad is the controlling type, the only way you may be able to keep him from taking control of your problems may be to keep them from him. This is not to say keep everything from your father! Some problems are serious, and you should be intelligent enough to know when to involve your parents.

I think some people just can't think, or they need a friend, or are lonely and scared of something. I think they don't have any friends so they cling to people that they think like them. I think that people are annoying because they are mean. Because people are stupid! People aren't annoying. The problem is not in the people you find annoying, the problem is in your inability to see them from an appropriate perspective. Some people have nothing better to do, or they dont like you and they are just trying to annoy you.

I think you can stop it by just holding your nose when your nose is about to twitch, I have this problem too and its so annoying.
