Here's a possibility:
Jot down a list of the basic vocabulary you know. Your father may be 'grand', your mother 'assez petite', your brother 'de taille moyenne', etc... Regarding hair, they can have 'les cheveux longs, courts, frisés, ondulés, raides, roux, blonds, bruns, chatains,..'. That allows you to describe one member of your family, hair, body shape, age, clothing, and then move to one of his occupations. Then introduce a second member, and start a comparison, or another description, etc...
A composition is a work of fiction. Not everything you write has to be the truth: the aim is to have you use vocabulary and grammar write a short piece.
