Yeah, I'd say looks are pretty high. But every girl has a different taste in guys, and who they think is good looking. Also, even if a girl thinks a guy is really hot or cute, most wont consider him if he doesn't have a good personality.

When you're just a high school student, looks seem to count a lot. But girls don't seem to care about looks as much as guys do about girls. Sure, they fantasize about hot 6 ft, European men with overwhelming intelligence and the ability to serenade in the middle of the night or hot non-existent Japanese characters with awesome hair and perfect bodies, but when it comes to real life, the bar isn't set that high. Girls like to be heard, so if you're willing to listen and give responses, they would look past 90% of your outer coating. Being narcissistic, arrogant, the-kid-in-the-front-who-knows-the-answer-to-every-question, pushover-ish, and overly sensitive are major turn offs.

Here's a list of things girls like when it comes to looks:

• height: at least a head taller
• weight: as long as you're not obese, the girl won't really mind. If you look like you're on steroids, they WILL run away. Man boobs are not appealing.
• hygiene: please smell nice
• clothes: as long as their boxers aren't showing and three other people can fit in their shirts, it really doesn't matter. (Girls love guys in dress shirts and nice jeans)
• hair: If it's longer than the girl's, it's a major problem. Long hair usually scares away 80% of the girls. It reminds them of creepy, crawly things and drunken men with beards.

i don't think i would just look at a person's looks when i meet them. I normally get to know the person first, then i judge them by their personality. i hate when my friends judge guys by their looks, because most of the time (and this is just generally and from the people that i know of) the super super hot guys are very very cocky and rude.
