If the divorce court did not specify who gets to live in the house, the ex is a legal tenant and has a right to use of the property. If the house was granted to you, you will need to lawfully evict the ex.

You don't need to keep them in your sight for very long! They could be distracting and that seems like you are trying to hold on to your ex. not too attractive. haha so either burn them, give them away to charity or you could do the right thing and just drop their belongings off at your ex's house when you know that they won't be home ha. i personally would burn them but that's just me, you might be a good person! Make efforts to contact the owner of the property in writing by mail, e-mail, or text and keep copies of your communication. Make at least three attempts to contact. If you don't hear from her in two to three months, dispose of the goods but keep the documentation. The documentation of your efforts will assist you if she sues you for the cost of the property.
