There are many things a parent can do to reduce the instances of eating disorders like anorexia in a teen concerned about body image. Most importantly is for the parent to encourage their teen to live a healthy lifestyle. This includes a varried, full diet, and lots of exercise and healthy choices.

A parent should also have positive self-esteem and positive self-image, and try to promote this towards their teen, too. As a whole, a parent can help their teen by complimenting or offering encouragement, and refraining from making mean comments based on physical features, appearances, or weight.

It is also important to know the warning signs, and to get help for the teen if they think that there is a more serious problem.

Who was telling the story about there's a teenager in the house why was the the speaker complaining about the teenager in the house did the speaker feel like punishing the teenager?

The speaker in the story is likely a parent or guardian expressing frustration about the challenges of living with a teenager. They may be complaining about typical adolescent behavior, such as defiance, messiness, or a lack of communication. While the speaker might feel overwhelmed and consider punishing the teenager, their complaints may also stem from a place of concern and the desire for better understanding rather than strict discipline.

If a boy tries to kiss you and you slap him and he still likes you will he try to kiss you again?

He might. What you mainly need to do is be concerned that you actually had to slap him to get him to stop. Please consult with a parent, teacher, guidance counselor, or such, especially if it does happen again.

When one parent picks on the other about spending time with the son?

A parent should spend lots of time with there son. You wont get the chance to spend as much time with your son after they have become a teenager because teenagers usually separate themselves from the family (This is perfectly normal, all teens go through this) So spend as much time with your son as you can. You might not get the chance later. And remember that when he becomes a teenager just because he is not wanting to spend as much time with you it doesn't mean that he doesn't still love you.
