  • Almost all individuals have gone through a heartbreak either when younger or sometime in their life and some individuals may go through more than one heartbreak. When your heart is broken it is much like grieving over someone you loved that has died and, in fact, you are grieving over what was once and is no more. You may feel depressed; useless; cry a lot; blame yourself and these are all normal feelings. However, it is important that you do get back out with your friends and try to have some fun and open yourself up to dating again as there is someone very special out there that you truly should be with. It is also important to choose a friend or family member you can trust to discuss how you feel when you feel you may be losing your strength. Right now you may not feel you will ever love anyone else the same way you loved the person that is no longer there, but you will. Believe it or not you are on the winning side because either the ex may come back into your life when they find that you are not sitting around and moping over them or, you will find that special someone that will come into your life.
