how would you know a celtic family was important?
why would you even want to know that?
because your family would like to know who you may end up with in the future or if there right for you!

Its important for your family to know where and what your doing on your date because they want to know that you are safe and that your not getting yourself into anything that you can't get out of. Tell your family where your going so if their is an emergency you can contact them and they can find you.
The Maryland flag has the family sheilds of two important families. The red and white crosses are from the crossland family. The Yellow and black chekers are from the calvert family (the founders of maryland).
There is none as far as we know.
Basically, you know that family was important to the Romans by studying your history. However, the Roman family was not the family as we know it today. The Roman family was a political unit. Without a powerful family or an alliance with a powerful family a man's chances for success in politics or in certain business ventures was zero. Alliances were formed by marriages, adoptions, or the Roman concept of amicitia.
